Blizzard has done a decent job at porting the game over to the Nintendo Switch but it is not without its downsides. Luckily, dreams were answered as the game is good as you might remember when you think back to the good old PC days. Coming back years later and being able to play the game on the go seemed like a dream come true. Hours and hours were spent with friends grinding away for the best gear tackling dungeons and killing bosses with the total play time racking over 500 hours in the end.
Be it with others or alone, this continues to be my favourite Action-RPG and it’s going to take something big to knock it off its perch.When I heard Diablo III (3) was coming to the Switch my memories of playing the game at university came flooding back. It’s as valid as any other way and still as enjoyable as it was for me on day one of its initial release on the PC all those years ago. It provides a new challenge of making the best use of your time and competing against other players to get the best character and the highest score on the leaderboards.ĭiablo 3 will always be a great game and being on the Switch is just providing another way to play. It’s a mode where you have a certain window to create a brand new character and level from one to as high as you can go. This version even gets the seasonal play my prefered way of playing. The original five are still stellar and over the years have been buffed and nerfed in a variety of different ways that even as someone who has played them before will get something new out of this experience.
Both are welcome additions and just provide more interesting ways to play. All seven released classes are available from the get-go so those who maybe played the first time around have yet to experience the Crusader or the Necromancer.
